Are you shipping internationally?

Due to restrictions put in place during the pandemic we are only able to ship to the continental United States. We will begin shipping internationally again June 1st 2020.

Are you accepting returns?

We are accepting returns. As always, all costs associated with returning items is the responsibility of the customer. Please double check that your order is correct and if you are purchasing gloves please make sure you selected the correct size before checking out.

How long will my order take to ship? 

Please allow 2 to 5 business days for us to process and package your order. Once orders have left our facility, standard shipping times apply. We are not offering expedited shipping at this time.

Are you shipping to salons?

At this time, we are only able to offer shipment to salons should the salon be open. If your salon is currently closed, please provide us with a residential address. If you would like to change your address please email us at info@framar.com. Products

What’s the difference between the different foil weights?

It’s all personal preference and what you feel comfortable with. Light foil gives you the most bang for your buck as there are more feet on a roll or less aluminum used in a pre-cut pack. However, some people find it too flimsy. Heavy foil is super strong. We find that a lot of colorists that work on coarse hair say it works better, but again, all preference. Medium is definitely the #1 choice.

What is embossed foil?

Embossed foil has a different texture than regular smooth foil. Many colorists feel that the embossing gives better grip to the foil when it’s in the hair, preventing slippage.

What are the different color brushes used for?

What’s great about our brushes is that all of them can be used for any application. However, many feel that brushes like the ones in the Triple Threat Set are great for your classic balayage where something like the Power Painter would be for heavily saturated balayage.

How do you use the Fold Freak?

The Fold Freak allows you to cut and fold your foil in one easy step. Simply pull out the foil, gently press down the lid and voila! You’ll have a perfectly cut sheet of foil with a folded edge. To open the dispenser, gently push open the bar from underneath. Once open, plug in the inserts to each side of the roll. Place the roll into the half circle slots, and pull out a sheet of foil. Then. close the lid, making sure it clicks locked. Once locked, dispenser is ready for use.

The Balayage Bestie is designed specifically to fit Framar’s Funked Up Film. The 300ft roll easily fits into the machine allowing it to be cut to any length, eliminating waste.

What is the Backwards Bib used for?

We created this product because we were constantly seeing the backs of chairs and capes ruined. The Backwards Bib drapes around the neckline of the clients and protects the chair cape from bleach stains.

How do I dispose of the Backwards Bib?

Simply toss it in the garbage. It will biodegrade within 6-12 weeks.

Why should I use Dry & Byeee towels over paper towels/reusable towels?

No labour, no water, no electricity. Simple as that. If your salon is using under 120 towels per day, it’s more cost effective to use these than regular cotton towels because of all the costs involved in doing laundry.

What is the difference between the Shampoo Screen, Cutting Cover and Color Cover?

Shampoo Screen is for clients at the shampoo bowl, it’s water repellent to keep clients dry, it also has a rubberized neck line to block water from coming in.

The Cutting cover is an elegant, light weight cape that prevents any hair or water from coming down the neck.

The Color Cover is a bleach proof, breathable cape that has pockets which allows the client to text or surf while processing.

What is the difference between the clips?

Our Gator Grips are for big sections, whether for cutting or coloring.

Super Sectioners are great for updo or cuts as the elastic band inside them prevents the hair from denting.

Our tight tension clips are ideal for cutting. They’re small enough to get into small sections of hair and have an incredibly strong clamp.

The Big Bite clips are the absolutely strongest clips we have. They’ll hold anything and everything!

How do I use the Bangers?

Simply peel off a strip and adhere it to the forehead of your client. When done, peel off and throw away.

How do I update my shipping address?

Log into your account and you’ll be able to change the settings in your profile. If you entered the wrong address when placing an order, please email info@framar.com and provide us with the new address. Please note shipping carriers will charge a $13 fee in order to change an address if the order was shipped to an incorrect address. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
